THOROUGH, DETAILED HOME INSPECTIONS

Our home inspections are considered some of the most thorough in Central NY. We cover every inch of your home possible, climbing into areas that other inspectors shy away from. We inspect hundreds of items in your home, and we prepare a detailed and comprehensive inspection report for you. Components included on your home inspection include mechanical, structural, electrical, plumbing, and other essential systems or portions of the home.

Our complete and thorough home inspections include the following and more:

  • Roof, attic, & exteriors
  • basements & crawlspaces
  • Electrical components
  • HVAC & plumbing
  • The entire structure
  • All living spaces

Depending on the size of the home, a general home inspection takes 2-3 hours. Within 24 hours of the home inspection, you will be provided with a computer generated report complete with full-color digital photographs. This allows you to sit down with your spouse, realtor, and family members in order to decide what you should do next.

A home inspection is an inexpensive way to discover the universal condition of a home. It is important to conduct a home inspection to avoid a costly mistake by purchasing a property in need of major repairs. … A good home inspection will assist a buyer in understanding exactly what they are about to acquire. As the homeowner, a home inspection can get the home set up to receive the highest possible price when put on the market or to just keep the home in the best possible condition.

Everyone should know that when buying a home, it is imperative to have an independent third party inspect the major systems of the home so that you’ll know their present condition, avoiding expensive surprises. As a seller it is recommended to have a home inspection done before the marketing of your home. Then based on the inspectors report, take care of what needs to be done prior to listing it for sale.

The inspection fee for a typical one-family home varies geographically, as does the cost of housing. Similarly, within a given area, the inspection fee may vary depending on a number of factors such as the size of the house, its age and possible optional services such as septic, well, mold or radon testing.

Don’t let cost be a factor in deciding whether or not to have a home inspection or in the selection of your home inspector. The sense of security and knowledge gained from an inspection is well worth the cost, and the lowest-priced inspection is not necessarily a bargain.

I am not the cheapest inspection in town but I believe that I offer a great value.
