Helping you understand the home before you make your next decision.

A different depth of experience
A house is more than a list of separate parts. Foundations, drainage, structure, and building systems all affect one another. My background in construction gives me a practical understanding of those relationships—and a way to explain them clearly during your inspection.
Client reviews
Thoroughness matters. So does the patience to explain what was found. Read what clients say about working with me, in their own words.

Meet your inspector
I grew up around my family’s excavation business, learning about foundations, drainage, and below-grade construction. After serving as a Combat Engineer with the 82nd Airborne Division, I moved into carpentry and remodeling.
My work expanded into running a remodeling and construction business, building new, modular, and log homes, and general contracting. In construction management, I supervised multiple building trades and saw how their work came together.
I’ve been a New York State licensed home inspector since 2010. That construction history still shapes my judgment and helps me explain what I observe in terms you can use—not just technical language on a page.
Home inspections
An inspection is not a pass-or-fail test. It is a closer look at the home’s current visible condition, with attention to significant concerns, safety issues, maintenance needs, and items that deserve further evaluation.
I look at roofing, exterior components, and accessible attic areas to understand how the home handles weather, ventilation, and the passage of time.
Visible structural components, foundations, basements, and accessible crawlspaces help me evaluate support, moisture, and conditions below the living spaces.
I evaluate accessible electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling, and interior components to help you understand their observable condition and concerns.
Buying a home? Understand visible conditions before deciding how to move forward.
Preparing to sell? A pre-listing inspection can identify concerns before your home goes on the market.
An older house and a recently built home can call for different questions. I look at what is present, how accessible components appear to be working, and how observations fit together. The aim is useful information about this property—not a promise that every concern can be seen.
An inspection covers visible and accessible components within the agreed scope. It is not invasive and cannot reveal every concealed condition.
Clear findings. Useful perspective.
My digital inspection report brings findings together with full-color photographs and straightforward explanations. It is a record of the property you can return to after the inspection—not simply a document to file away.
My job isn’t simply to give you a long list of observations. I want you to understand which findings deserve attention, what may require maintenance, and where further evaluation may be appropriate. There’s room for your questions and a clear explanation of the context.
Use the report to frame your next questions: does a finding need prompt attention, a qualified specialist, or a place on a future maintenance list? Clear photographs and explanations help keep those decisions grounded in the observed condition, whether you are discussing repairs during a purchase or planning ownership.

Some questions call for a more specific investigation. These services can add useful information about the property, depending on your concerns and the home’s conditions.

Temperature patterns can point to anomalies that warrant a closer look. Thermal imaging supports investigation; it does not see through walls, establish the cause of every anomaly, or identify every leak.
